What does this leadership skills assessment measure?
It measures five core leadership skills: communication, decision-making, delegation, developing people, and vision and motivation. Each skill has three statements, and you rate how often each one is true for you.
How is my score calculated?
Each answer scores from 1 (Never) to 5 (Always). Your score in each area is out of 15, and your overall score is your total as a percentage of 75. 80% or more is strong, 60–79% is developing and under 60% is emerging.
What is my growth area?
Your growth area is the skill with your lowest score. The results give you two habits to practise and articles to read for that skill.
How accurate is a leadership self-assessment?
A self-assessment shows how you see yourself, not how your team sees you. For the most useful picture, answer based on what you actually did last month, and ask a trusted colleague to rate you on the same statements.
